We are Tom & Jena, your hosts at Follow Your Heart Farm. Our own love story was quite a journey, eventually leading us back to one another and to Vermont. Here, we are excited to welcome you to our Farm, where we finally tied the knot, and we help couples celebrate their own unique love stories.

The Farm is designed with togetherness in mind. Our sprawling, 100-acre property offers countless spots to gather, connect, and celebrate.
The main home is a gracious place to leisurely begin your wedding morning with your wedding party. Our woodland trails are begging for a long walk with an old friend. And the fire pit is the perfect spot for a final toast under the stars.

We believe your celebration should be as personal as your love story, so we don’t impose a preferred vendor list. Instead, you’re welcome to work with the vendors who best fit your style, vision, and budget. Our Farm is your canvas to create the weekend you’ve always imagined.
Make Yourself at Home
For a few special days, our woodland retreat becomes entirely yours. With exclusive access to the property, you and your loved ones can settle in, relax, and fully embrace the celebration.
The spacious main house comfortably accommodates up to 16 guests with six inviting bedrooms. Pile onto the couch in the Great Room for late night conversations, enjoy your morning coffee in the sunlit solarium, or set off to explore the property’s trails and hidden scenic spots. Every space, both inside and out, is designed to bring you and your guests together for a weekend to remember.
THE FARM’S HISTORY
Follow Your Heart Farm was originally known as Homeplace. It was built in 1969 by the Huessy family, and the estate has long been a cherished gathering place.
The matriarch, Mariot, welcomed guests to her bed and breakfast, offering stays in the three-apartment homestead she and her husband built for their eleven children. With park-like grounds, stables, and even an equestrian ring, Mariot hosted weddings, reunions, and holiday gatherings filled with love.
Today, we’re excited to carry on her legacy, inviting couples to create their own memories in this beautiful woodland retreat.
When we first discovered this property in July 2022, we knew it was something special. Nearly 30 years after meeting as high school seniors—Tom as an exchange student from New Zealand and Jena as a native Vermonter—we were engaged, drawn back together by a connection that spanned decades and continents. Follow Your Heart Farm became the perfect place to celebrate our love, and on July 9, 2023, we welcomed friends and family from near and far, to share in our union.
